Jenn Hutchins
Jenn has been practicing yoga on and off since her early 20s. In her 30s she started having a series of panic attacks after a few health issues arose. She decided to tackle those health issues with yoga, mindfulness, and reiki. She found the practices so useful that she decided she wanted to give the same gift of healing she had been given.
Within the last year she acquired her 200 hr. In Kundalini yoga. Kundalini yoga speaks to her as a practitioner because it is yoga for the mind, body and spirit. It is yoga for every facet of our being and is practical for anybody in any physical shape to use.
She has been a reiki practitioner for over 5 years. Once again this is a practice for the whole of our body and spirit. It creates space for her clients to allow them to heal themselves.
She knows that both of these practices changed her life in a myriad of ways and wants to continue to learn and grow and create space for all people.

Colleen Law
I was introduced to Reiki by Kalpana Reddy. I was trying to find more peace and quiet in myself at a time when I felt overwhelmed. I found Reiki offered a safe, comforting and calming sensation that allowed me to relax deeply and the more Reiki I did, that calm feeling seemed to be more present in my everyday life. I felt it was so beneficial to me and my wellbeing that I wanted to be able to offer that to others. I trained under Kalpana Reddy from 2012 to 2016 when I became a Reiki Master of Unlimited “White Light” Reiki. After receiving my Reiki Master training, I started a practice in Malone that continues today. I enjoy bringing a feeling of peace and calm to my clients and enjoy how I feel when offering Reiki. For me, Reiki has touched every aspect of my life in a positive way and I enjoy sharing that with others.
Reiki is an ancient Japanese practice. Rei means “Unconditional Love”, “Holy Energy”, “Divine Love” or “God’s Healing Light”. Ki is “Vital Life Force” energy, which flows throughout all of creation and the universe. A Reiki treatment is a powerful but gentle means of providing access to the unlimited light-filled energy inside us and all around us. It is a concrete way to allow divine love and healing light energy to bring about deep healing. As a practitioner, I will facilitate the flow of this light filled energy by gently placing my hands on the body in a series of positions that reduces stress and promotes a state of deep relaxation, stimulates the body’s natural ability to heal itself, relieves pain and create inner harmony and promote calmness and serenity.
I am also interested in how stress affects the body and mind. I became more aware of stress when I taught Introduction to Stress Management from 2012 to 2019 through North Country Community College at both the college and local correctional facilities. I am amazed at the wide reaching, mainly negative consequences of stress and how they impact our lives. I enjoy teaching people about stress, the many changes it causes in our body and mind and to learn techniques to help us deal with stress in a way that limits damage and improves wellbeing.
I am a physical therapist at the out-patient clinic at Alice Hyde Medical Center and have worked at AHMC for over 20 years. I specialize in pelvic floor rehabilitation, Parkinson’s Disease and orthopedic conditions. I receive great satisfaction from being a PT and enjoy working with people to improve function and decrease pain to make a positive change in people’s lives.
